Finland’s TSO seeks bids for 400 kV transformers [free access]

Finland’s transmission system operator (TSO) Fingrid has invited competitive bids for the supply of two 400 kV, 400 MVA transformers for the Pysayspera substation on a turnkey basis. 

 

The scope of the contract also involves the manufacturing of transformers with fittings and accessories, testing, and sea transportation to Finland. As reported, the contractor also has an option of supplying 8 units of high voltage transformers and spare parts at various locations. 

 

The duration of the contract is around four years, starting from February 1, 2021 till December 31, 2025. The contract is a government procurement agreement (GPA) and will be awarded through a negotiated procedure. 

 

Interested bidders are expected to submit their bids by latest September 25, 2020.
