Argentina is planning to launch four energy auctions in 2017 that are expected to attract as much as ARS7 billion in investment to boost generating capacity for both conventional and renewable power plants. As per the Ministerio de Energía y Minería (MEM) of Argentina, two auctions will offer thermal power projects, one renewable energy project, and one transmission line projects.
