KfW-Entwicklungs Bank has invited international competitive bids for detailed designing, manufacturing, construction-in-progress (CIP) supply, civil and electromechanical works, testing and commissioning of a 345/138 kV substation comprising two units of 450 MVA transformers each, four units of 345 kV, and seven units of 138 kV line bays with control building and compliant substation (IEC 61850) automation, including an optical 10 Gigabit Ethernet telecommunication system with switches in the existing collateral substations and protections via fibre optics.

IIC approves USD56 million financing package for 500 kV Melo–Tacuarembó line in Uruguay

(ISA), has exercised its rights to acquire the entire equity interest of the country’s local concessionaire Interligação Elétrica Norte e Nordeste (IENNE), from Spanish company Isolux Energia e Participações S.A. (Isolux) and local power company Construções e Participações S.A (Cymi Holding).

South Australia's transmission network operator ElectraNet has submitted its five-year (2019–23) revenue proposals to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER). The proposal sets out the revenue ElectraNet proposes to collect from South Australian electricity consumers through transmission charges for the regulatory period 2019 to 2023, beginning July 1, 2018.
