Brazil’s ANEEL gives final approval for BRL7.4 billion December 2020 auction

Brazil’s energy regulator, Agencia Nacional de Energia Eletrica (ANEEL), has given the final approval for the transmission auction (nº 1/2020) set to take place on December 17, 2020, with an expected investment of BRL7.4 billion. During this, it will auction 1,958 km of transmission lines and 6,420 MVA of transformer capacity across nine Brazilian states via 11 lots.
