The state-owned power utility, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) of Afghanistan, and the state-owned national grid developer of Uzbekistan JSC Uzbekenergo, have signed a new power transmission agreement that allows Afghanistan to import electricity from Uzbekistan for the next 10 years.
