Fugro secures contract for cable route survey for offshore wind in Maine

The Netherlands-based offshore and onshore geotechnical and survey services company Fugro, has secured a contract from the New England Aqua Ventus, LLC (NEAV)—a joint venture between Diamond Offshore Wind (subsidiary of the Mitsubishi Corporation) and RWE Renewables—to conduct a cable route survey for the New England Aqua Ventus I floating wind project off the coast of Maine.

EoS secures contract for California energy storage project [free access]

New Jersey-based EoS Energy Storage LLC—an energy equipment and solution provider—secured a USD20 million contract from EnerSmart, a developer, owner and operator of utility-scale energy storage projects to provide at least 90 MWh, and as much as 180 MWh, of energy storage over the next 24 months.

Egyptian Elsewedy Electric’s subsidiary, Elsewedy Electric for Trading & Distribution, has signed a partnership contract with Hitachi ABB Power Grids and ABB Egypt for establishing a new transmission control centre in the Delta region, valued at EGP870 million. Of the total share, Elsewedy’s share is set at EGP439 million.
