Denmark’s Ørsted and US-based Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) have signed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for the 1,100 MW Ocean Wind 1 project off New Jersey with Jingoli Power LLC and Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company Inc.

China CET to build USD1.1 billion grid project in Argentina

The Government of Argentina has awarded a contract to China Electric Power Equipment and Technology (CET), a subsidiary of state-owned State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), to engineer, design, supply and construct a USD1.1 billion project aimed at improving the 500 kV grid network in Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires (AMBA) or the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires.

Hitachi Energy receives INR1.6 billion order from MPPTPL in India

Hitachi Energy India Limited has won an order worth about INR1.60 billion from MP Power Transmission Package-II Limited (MPPTPL), a special purpose vehicle (SPV) owned by Adani Transmission Limited (a part of Adani Group), to strengthen the transmission system in the rural area of Madhya Pradesh to increase capacity and improve reliability of the power infrastructure in the region.

Germany’s Südkabel bags contract for Greenlink

German cable manufacturer Südkabel GmbH has secured a contract from Japanese technology provider, Sumitomo Electric, to supply, install and commission approximately 63 km of 320 kV high-voltage direct current (HVDC) onshore cabling for the Greenlink project, the interconnector between Ireland and the UK.
