According to the Trend Scenario of Energy 2030, the country is expected to add close to 1,488 TWh of generation capacity during the period 2022-30, to meet the growing electricity demand. Nuclear, hydro, thermal and RE projects will be major contributors, accounting for the majority of the upcoming additions.
