State-owned power company Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) has invited bids from Bhutanese and Indian contractors for the supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a 65 km long, 400 kV double-circuit transmission line with twin moose aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) and aluminium alloy conductor steel reinforced (AACSR) conductors for connecting the Pothead Yard of Punatsangchhu II Hydroelectric Plant (PHEP II) in Wangdue to Jigmeling in Sarpang.
