Brazilian power company Furnas Central Electric SA (Furnas), a subsidiary of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras S.A. (Eletrobras), has planned to invest BRL5 billion or about 12 per cent of its total planned expenditure to expand its wind power network during the next 10 years.
