The Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) of Colombia has announced its high voltage grid expansion plans for the next 13 years. Under this, it will develop 16 projects of 500 kV and 3,000 km line length with an investment of USD1.68 billion, which will help in evacuating power from hydro projects and also enhance capacity of the existing network.
