Eight consumer counsels, including those from Ohio, Virginia, Delaware, Illinois, West Virginia, New Jersey, District of Columbia and Maryland have sent a formal request to PJM Interconnection requesting a re-evaluation of the 275-mile (442.75 km), 765 kV Potomac-Appalachian Transmission Highline (PATH) project proposed by American Electric Power (AEP) and Allegheny Energy.
