The Croatian transmission system operator (TSO), Hrvatski Operator Prijenosnog Sustava D.O.O. (HOPS), and the German equipment manufacturer, Siemens, have signed a contract for the installation of a variable shunt reactor (VSR) at the 400/220/110 kV Melina transformer station (TS).
