Dominican CDEEE and DIGECOMM to fund grid modernisation and loss reduction plan

Dominican Republic power holding company Corporación Dominicana de Empresas Eléctricas Estatales (CDEEE) and Dirección General de Cooperación Multilateral (DIGECOOM) or Director General of Multilateral Cooperation, the country’s monitoring and evaluation agency for projects or programmes being funded by multilateral agencies, have signed an agreement to fund grid modernisation and loss reduction plan for the distribution network of the country. The amount will be used to rehabilitate circuit # 2 of the Los Mina substation located in Tres Brazos, Riviera del Ozama, Canta la Rana, Altos del Ozama and La Isabela, concession area of power distribution company Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este, S.A. (EDEESTE).
