The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) member countries, through the West African Power Pool (WAPP), have targeted to complete the 330 kV North Dorsal Project or the North Core Project, which will connect the grids of Nigeria, Niger, Togo-Benin and Burkina Faso, by 2023.
