The Belgian electricity transmission operator Elia Group and Alstom Grid, a unit of French power generator Alstom, have signed a three-year cooperation agreement, which outlines a general framework for a long-term joint development strategy for Smart Grid initiatives, renewable energy integration, and international research and development.
