Entergy Corporation and ITC Holdings Corporation have mutually agreed to scrap their plans of merging Entergy's transmission business with ITC. The companies have officially terminated the merger agreement and have filed pleadings to withdraw the remaining transaction approval applications with Entergy's retail regulators, as well as the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). In the meantime, Entergy has completed its integration with MISO.
