South African state-owned power utility Eskom Holdings SOC Limited (Eskom) has signed a loan agreement with the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) for more than ZAR3 billion for the implementation of the Eskom Transmission Project aimed at strengthening transmission infrastructure in the country.
