A consortium of GE's Grid Solutions and BOND Civil & Utility Construction were awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for onshore and offshore high-voltage equipment,including an onshore substation that will connect the 816-MW Empire Wind project to the New York power grid.
