Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has awarded an INR1.62 billion turnkey contract to GE T&D India Limited for the extension and construction of substations associated with the evacuation of power from the 2,500 MW Bhuj wind power plant in Gujarat under the Green Energy Corridor (GEC) Transmission System.
