The Greek Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), Anexartitos Diacheiristis Metaforis llektrikis Energiasis (ADMIE), has awarded a EUR10 million contract to Greek Mytilineos (an industrial company functioning in metallurgy, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), electric power and gas trading) for the construction of a new 400 kV high-voltage overhead line between the Nea Santa and Maritsa East substations.
