In February 2017, Peru's investment promotion agency Proinversion, through its Comité en Proyectos de Energía e Hidrocarburos Pro Conectividad or Committee on Energy and Hydrocarbons Projects, announced the tender for the concession of the Guaranteed Transmission System (GTS) project.
