The state utility of Haiti, Eléctricité d'Haïti (EDH) has invited bids for the control, coordination and supervision of rehabilitation works on the 50 km long, 115 kV 72 MVA Péligre double-circuit transmission line connecting the Nouveun Delmas and Port-au-Prince substations. The scope of the contract involves the replacement of existing conductors with new conductors, existing cable guard with new optical ground wire (OPGW), replacement of chain insulations with other material, etc. The contract is being funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
