The state-owned Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has recently signed a deal with an Indian–Nepali joint venture (JV) comprising of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) and Jade Consult of Nepal for carrying out preliminary studies for the construction of three nodal 400 kV power lines in Nepal.
