As per the Boulder district court order, the Montana Department of Environmental Quality will have to consult with the Jefferson County Commissioners before releasing the draft environmental impact statement (EIS) for the NorthWestern Energy's (NWE) proposed Mountain States Transmission Intertie (MSTI).
