State-owned grid developer Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) has invited pre-qualification bids for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the 400/220 kV substation at Isinya, installation of capacitors at the 220 kV Athi River substation and a 90 MVA transformer at Nairobi North under the International Development Association (IDA)-funded Eastern Electricity Highway Project.
