Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) has awarded a USD53 million contract to LS HongQi Cable & System, the Chinese manufacturing arm of South Korean LS Cable & System, to supply 132 kV underground cables on turnkey basis during 2018-19.
