MasTec Incorporated, a Florida-based infrastructure engineering and construction company, has signed a USD500 million worth master services agreement with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) to complete the restoration of damaged critical electricity components and support the initial phase of reconstruction and modernisation of the electricity grid in Puerto Rico, which suffered severe damages after Hurricane Maria hit the island in September 2017.
