The Midwest Independent System Operator (ISO) has approved the 2010 Midwest ISO Transmission Expansion Plan (MTEP10) which recommends undertaking 231 new transmission projects over the next decade in order to increase regional reliability, improve grid efficiency, and enable public policy fulfillment.
