The Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) selected Republic Transmission LLC, a partnership between LS Power Associates and Hoosier Energy Rural Electric Cooperative, to build, own and operate the 345 kV Duff-Coleman line in southern Indiana and western Kentucky, the first transmission project awarded through a competitive process in compliance with Order 1000 of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
