Namibia's state-owned power utility Namibia Power Corporation (Pty) Limited (NamPower) has invited international bids for the construction of an 80 km long, 132 kV single-circuit (S/C) transmission line with aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) Pelican conductor and 48-core optical ground wire (OPGW) from the Masivi substation near Rundu to the Shitemo substation near Shitemo in northern Namibia.
