The New Development Bank (NDB), formerly referred to as the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), has signed a loan agreement worth USD180 million with the South African state-owned power utility Eskom Holdings SOC Limited (Eskom) for the implementation of the Renewable Energy Integration and Transmission Augmentation Project.
