NextEra Energy Transmission MidAtlantic LLC (NEET MidAtlantic), a direct, wholly owned subsidiary of NextEra Energy Transmission MidAtlantic Holdings, LLC, and an indirect subsidiary of NextEra Energy Transmission, LLC (NEET) and of NextEra Energy Capital Holdings (NEECH), has filed an application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity (CPCN) with the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) to own, operate, and maintain the transmission network, as well as provide transmission in the state as a public utility.
