The project, commissioned in November 2020, entailed the establishment of the 400/220 kV, 2x500 MVA New Kohima substation, the 400 kV Imphal–New Kohima and New Kohima–New Mariani lines in the states of Nagaland and Manipur, at an estimated cost of INR6.53 billion.
