Pakistan's National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) Limited is expected to increase the transformer capacity to 24,624 MVA on its 18 grid stations of 500 kV and 33,873 MVA on 50 grid stations of 220 kV, by 2018. In addition the transmission line length is expected to be reach up to 7,127 km and 10,129 km among 500 kV and 220 kV grids respectively, till 2018.
