India's Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) is seeking recommendations from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), the central transmission utility, to resolve the issue of transmission network congestion experienced by the two operational energy exchanges in the Indian power market- Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) and Power Exchange of India Limited (PXIL), as well as to ensure smooth flow of power.
