Several property owners near the railroad corridor in Delta County, Michigan, are opposing the development of a 138 kV, 22 mile (35.42 km) stretch of Bay Lake Project, which will run from the Holmes substation in Menominee County to the Old Mead Road substation in Escanaba as per the project's preferred route.
