State-owned power company La Société Nationale d'Electricité du Sénégal (Senelec) has issued an international tender for the construction of the 22 km long underground 225 kV high voltage line between Kounoune and Patte d'Oie on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, under the Islamic Bank for Development (IsBD)-funded Project de Construction des Liaisons THT 225 kV Kounoune-Patte d'Oie or the Construction of 225 kV EHV Kounoune-Patte d'Oie Links Project.
