Domestic competitive bids are invited for the removal of conductors, accessories and towers of the 132 kV Embilipitiya–Hambanthota of transmission line section and stringing of new 132 kV transmission line section (2.5 km) at Sooriyawewa for shifting of the 132 kV Embilipitiya–Hambanthota of transmission line at the Sooriyawewa interchange to facilitate extension of Southern Highway Project. The line section consists of 132 kV transmission line towers (seven units).
