Arkansas PSC approves Wind Catcher Energy Connection project

The Arkansas Public Service Commission (PSC) has given its approval for the 2 GW Wind Catcher Energy Connection project, being jointly developed by American Electric Power’s (AEP) subsidiaries – Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSCO) and Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO), with Invenergy. SWEPCO had filed an application with the Arkansas PSC in July 2017.

Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) – a subsidiary of American Electric Power (AEP) – has filed a joint application, along with the staff of Arkansas Public Service Commission (APSC), Arkansas attorney general and Walmart Inc., to the APSC for its Wind Catcher Energy Connection project.
