Sembcorp Marine subcontracts Iv-Offshore & Energy for initial works on Sofia HVDC platform
Dutch Iv-Offshore & Energy bv has signed the early works contract with the project contractor, Sembcorp Marine Offshore Platforms Pte Ltd (SMOP), for the engineering of the high voltage direct current (HVDC) convertor platform associated with the 1, 400 MW Sofia offshore wind project in the UK.
