Work on the third Iran-Armenia transmission line is in progress; and so far, has achieved a physical progress of 20 per cent.

400 kV Iran-Armenia Power Transmission Project
The proposed project will be the third interconnection between the two countries. The 400 kV transmission line, along with the respective substations, has been proposed to help transmit electricity from Armenia to Iran in return for gas supplied by the latter for the former’s Yerevan power plant.
