India’s KEC to build 220 kV transmission line in Afghanistan
KEC International Limited, the India-based power equipment manufacturer and EPC contractor, has signed a contract with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Finance and the state-owned power vertical Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) for the construction of a 220 kV double-circuit transmission line connecting the existing 220 kV Chimtala substation to a proposed 220 kV substation at Kabul South West (Arghandi).
