Lewis Wind Power has submitted an application for the grid connection of the Stornoway wind farm to the UK’s transmission system operator (TSO) National Grid. The company expects to receive the connection offer from the TSO in the summer of 2013.

SHETL submits application to construct 132 kV transmission circuit

Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission Limited (SHETL), operator of the 132 kV and 275 kV electricity transmission networks in the north of Scotland, has submitted applications for consent to construct a 132 kV electricity transmission circuit between Grabhair and Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
