Sri Lanka’s CEB seeks bids for ADB-funded 132 kV project

Sri Lanka’s state-owned Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has invited global bids for the procurement of plant, and design, supply and installation of the 55 km long, 132 kV New Anuradhapura-Vavuniya double-circuit double zebra line; and the 70 km long, 132 kV Vavuniya-Mannar double-circuit single zebra line. Both the lines would be designed for 220 kV operation.
