Hydro One acquires Orillia Power Distribution Corporation
Ontario’s largest transmission company Hydro One Limited, has announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire 100 per cent share of Orillia Power Distribution Corporation from the City of Orillia, Ontario. Hydro One will pay the City of Orillia CAD26.35 million for Orillia Power and assume approximately CAD14.9 million of debt and regulatory liabilities for a total transaction value of CAD41.3 million.
