Brazil’s ANEEL awards 500 kV line maintenance contract to Abengoa
Brazil’s energy regulator Agencia Nacional de Energia Eletrica (ANEEL) has selected Spanish conglomerate Abengoa to maintain two continuous current transmission lines, which will transmit more than 6,000 MW of power generated by the hydroelectric plants on the Madeira River (Santo Antonio and Girau).
