ANEEL hosts auction for 13 lots of transmission concessions in Brazil

Brazilian energy regulator Agencia Nacional de Energia Eletrica (ANEEL) hosted a power transmission concession auction (No. 01/2014) on May 9, 2014 in Sao Paulo. Of the total 13 transmission lots offered, the auction ended with the allotment of 8 lots (except Lots A, H, I, J and L), at an average discount of about 13.18 per cent.
