California ISO approves USD271 million projects under 2017–18 Plan
The California Independent System Operator (CAISO) has approved its new 2017–18 transmission plan, which has indicated the need for 17 transmission projects, primarily to maintain grid reliability, of which USD182.3 million worth of 13 projects have been identified as reliability-driven, while four projects with an estimated cost of USD89 million have been identified as economic-driven.
