SPP approves waiver review process for byway facility cost allocation
The Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Board of Directors and Regional State Committee recently gave their green light to a process that allows companies with transmission projects of between 100 kV and 300 kV (byway facilities) to apply for a waiver from the cost allocation methodology and be fully allocated prospectively on a region-wide basis.
