SGCC and EEPCo sign construction agreement for GERD transmission project
China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Company Limited (CET), a subsidiary of China’s largest transmission system operator (TSO) State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), has signed a construction and financing agreement with Ethiopia’s state-owned vertically integrated power utility Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) for the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) power transmission line project.
