SSE Renewables, a subsidiary of Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE), has awarded two contracts to the French cable manufacturer Nexans, and the UK-based subsea engineering, construction and services company, Seaway 7 (a subsidiary of Subsea 7 S.A), for the Seagreen 1 offshore wind farm.
